And yes, the Heidelberg native’s career sounds like something from a movie: She was discovered from a frozen-yogurt commercial and got her own radio show. She went viral freestyling over a Biggie Smalls instrumental, Missy Elliott posted one of her dance videos, and she reached 100,000 followers some time ago already. Meanwhile, Aisha Vibes, who started writing songs at the age of 12, lives in Berlin and left her radio-host job to devote more time to music. On her new EP »Elevate«, she celebrates herself, pushes for empowerment and self-esteem and dives deeper into Afrobeat sounds. Aisha Vibes could also contribute the official German remix to the Afrobeat anthem »Finesse« by Pheelz – thanks to her »I don’t give a fuck, I just live my best life« vibes.
