He’s back, the Berlin rapper who has been considered one of Germany’s best and most talented (live) MCs since his debut album »Entwicklungshilfe«, which he further proved in 2012 with »Leidkultur«. It’s taken ten years for Amewu to report back with »Haben und Sein«. Rap, grime and trip-hop with uncountable words per minute combine to offer a clear message: about unlimited growth and what it’s doing to us, the climate crisis, colonialism and racism and how it plays out in our everyday lives.
