Güner Künier: »PAPA DON*T KILL«

As an oppressive and ultra-realistic daydream, this Commissioned Work opens up the broad thematic field of post-migrant identities. Musician and actor Güner Künier tackles this complexity against the backdrop of her own subjective experiences: the conformist, heteronormative family on one side; the desire for self-realisation, independent art and a feminist life on the other. In her performance, Künier frees herself from inner and outer constraints, warping ostensibly indisputable reality with its dualistic opposites. Künier knows no boundaries and lives the extreme, losing herself in the process.
