In the long shot, a young man is standing on a pavement that slopes slightly to the right, in front of a southern-looking house painted yellow and grey. Further in the background, a white adobe house can be seen. Liam Mour looks head-on into the camera, his face has a rigid expression. His medium-length hair lies tousled on his head and forehead. He wears a three-day beard. His clothes, a loose jumper and casual long trousers are black. He wears white trainers. His arms hang loosely down. To the right in the picture is a two-paned window with a thick dark brown window frame. Cut in, on the left of the picture, a dark brown door frame can be seen. In front of Liam Mour is a paved street.

Liam Mour

The fact that Liam Mour is also a soundtrack composer can be heard in his evocative, electronic, melodic, and ethereal tracks. As it sounds very cinematic and timeless when he lets opulent ambient atmospheres and expressive rhythms flow together into impressive orchestral compositions. Born in the Tien Shan mountains in Central Asia, he learned to play the piano aged six and before long began recording and producing music on mixers and tape machines. Limiting his studio equipment to analogue synthesisers and effects as well as numerous acoustic instruments, Liam Mour, who is meanwhile a Berliner with a studio in the renowned Funkhaus Berlin, continuously explores the depth of his cinematic sound world – live on stage, too.
