SALOMEA

SALOMEA defines music as art. SALOMEA believes in love, respect and honesty. And yes, this requires real listening, it demands something, it wants more and then reveals a finely-tuned draft of the music of the future: music as profound entertainment, a band that takes risks, a voice as if from another galaxy, precise and warm. The Cologne formation – which includes singer Rebekka Salomea and the top-class musicians Yannis Anft (keys), Oliver Lutz (bass) and Leif Berger (drums) – soaks jazz in hip-hop and fuses it with R&B and varieties of contemporary electronic music, as can be heard perfectly on the band’s second album »Bathing in Flowers« and the latest EP, »Conversations«.
