Warm Graves

Seven years after their debut »Ships Will Come«, Warm Graves – an effort led by Leipzig composer Jonas Wehner – have now returned with their second studio album »Ease«, released in 2022 via Fuzz Club Records. While the first record explored atmospheric, dreamlike sonic worlds, »Ease« presents harder electronic pieces that combine an experimental approach with influences from dark, ambient drone, supercooled cold wave and cosmic synthesiser music. Instead of the collective sound of an epic choir, Wehner now sings with a voice that embodies isolation and intimacy. The artist arrives at Pop-Kultur with a new live band to delve into the idea of transformation, deconstruction and reconstruction.
