May The Muse can be seen up to her waist, she is standing at a slight angle to the camera and is wearing a black hoodie with a black and white large patch on the left chest. She wears the hood on her head and looks solemn. The part of her black hair that is still sticking out is combed back. The wall behind her is paneled with brown, large wooden panels. From above, a semicircular shadow protrudes into the picture.

May The Muse

Born in Bad Nauheim and raised in a »racist and sexist small town in Belgium«, May The Muse discovered music for herself at an early age. She has been living in Berlin since 2018 and most recently has worked with the likes of Chefket, Robot Koch and Parra For Cuva. Her EP »When Mercury Fades«, recorded with her long-time producer friend Matthew Kent, earned her much critical praise, and now, May The Muse is finishing work on her first full-length album. She is inspired by downtempo and pop classics à la Sade, Morcheeba and Zero 7 as well as powerful nineties guitars, while also revealing a penchant for nature and the search for balance within both the self and the big city – resulting in great neo-soul songs.
