Sherryaeri

Music and parties are highly political, Sherryaeri believes – and therefore pays attention not only to the selection of musicians but also to the resistance potential of the music genres. As a queer »non-binary femme« with German-Egyptian roots, Sherryaeri tries to present artists who don’t get as much space as they deserve and mixes them with Arabic sounds. In doing so, Sherryaeri roams through the most diverse genres, but always ends up with hip-hop, baile and mahraganat: DJ sets that are made to give us a sense of belonging and to celebrate our diverse personalities and lifestyles!
