Commissioned Work Documentary

The Pop-Kultur Commissioned Works are specially made for the festival. They give artists the chance to work intensively on a theme of their own choice and to expand their usual working processes with regard to performative approaches. The Commissioned Work documentary features four of this year’s artists talking about their work and how they experienced it in the context of the festival.

K.ZIA transformed the concert venue into a safe space to connect collectively with all 5 senses, Sean Nicholas Savage blurred the boundaries between reality and dream, Sanni Est presented her second studio album as an immersive live installation and Joanna Gemma Auguri‘s project led the audience into an imaginatively designed ritual.

In interviews and footage from production and performance, the video gives an immediate impression of the respective acts and their work.
